School has begun!

Well, school has begun and I have begun the studying process. My goal is to go to the library everyday from 6-9pm Monday through Friday. That's 15 hours in the evening. Of course, I'll probably be studying in the mornings, too, before I go to work as well. These are the only books I had to buy for this semester. This is my 3rd semester of grad school!

Finishing up Check-ins...

Well, these last 4 or 5 days have been the most craziest days ever for me. Last night the RA's had the first floor meetings. One of my RA's talked/stressed about not doing mary jane a little too much. I finally cut her off and said, "If you're caught smoking weed, just began packing your items because there's 0 tolerance at this school." Basically just getting to the point and moving on gets the point across.

We had a RHC Fest yesterday and it was soooo fun! It was a great turn out.

Meanwhile, my coworkers and I were so stressed and frustrated, we relaxed with a cool beverage!

My New Office!

So my job had an office build in my residence hall which has made life more convenient. The con is residents can get to me faster! Lol...oh well. It's kind of tiny but I like it! It's not quite organize just yet but it's getting there. My residents move in on the 24th.

RA's return today!!!

I am soooo excited and ready to see my RA's. I am opening training with Lasagna, corn-on-the-cob, and garlic bread.

Last night & this morning...

Last night I kicked it with my god sis, Angie. She came to my apartment, had a woodchuck, and rode around the city. It was fun laughing and reminiscing on the old times. 

And then this morning, I became a mechanic! Lol, no. I only put windshield liquid in. Hehe :)

Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo :)

Last week I made chicken & broccoli Alfredo with a few other small vegetables in it. I was SUPER good! I didn't make the sauce from scratch though. I'm not that talented. However, I did use Ragu sauce, garlic salt, black pepper, and iodized salt.

A happy thought....

A friend asked me what was my most happiest thought today. So, I scanned my day through my mind. First, I thought about the CHICKEN BISCUIT I HAD THIS MORNING...and then I was like...naaaah. Then I thought about my TURKEY SANDWICH WITH CHIPS I HAD IN THE AFTERNOON. And said...naaaah. THEN, I thought, "MY BFF GOT AIR IN HER CAR TODAY!!!" Yep, I was very happy that my bff got air in her car today. The heat index was 115 degrees today. But you know what? My bff makes me happy anyway. Does this count?

Watching Different World....

I like watching Different World for so many reasons. It puts me in that 'college field'. It's a black college show with morals and values. Sadly, if another black college sitcom were to come out, it would probably be about sex and greek sex life.

Anywho, Different World  makes me hope and pray my future children enjoy college like I did and better. And then of course, attend a HBCU school, rather if it's undergrad or grad!
