Some things that I enjoy...

 ...just sit in the apartment and drink a cold Woodchuck. :) 

My job's workload has doubled & I just wanna decorate!

My life has switched gears in one week. From chilling, slow pace to double load of work, high pace. My Resident Advisory's will be returning soon, I need to finish registering for classes, and complete as much paperwork for work. Through all of this, all I want to do is decorate...Lol. I bought a side table and a picture from Target. The picture was $5 and the table was $12. I couldn't believe the prices; it was a steal and I had to buy it!

One person that keeps me going, other than God and decorating, is my mom, or my ma. She is ma or mama to me. She is my biggest supporter in everything I do. I used to couldn't stand being around her but those feelings have completely turned around! I look forward every weekend to go home and spend the night with her. If she had one leg and could barely see, she would still do her best to take care me. And ya know what? I would do the same for her! :) <3

HGTV & decorating!

I love decorating and I'm addicted to hgtv.com! I have two TV's and both are ALWAYS on that channel.

On twitter, I follow @HomeDecorNews @Dwell and @DESIGN_KCHI. My favorite one is the first one. There's an update all the time and so many different ideas and pictures are posted.

I, also, enjoy looking at IKEA's website. Whenever I'm in Charlotte, I HAVE to visit this store. I'm in for about 3 hours. Once I finish grad school and began my career, I want to spend $1000 at once in the stores. Lol..just kidding....but seriously.

I don't want a huge house. In fact, I want a small studio apartment to start off. One of my inspirations is Jay Shafer's tiny home. Check it out! His house is really tiny and the one thing I like most about it, it's coziness. I like the closeness of a home. I don't have claustrophobic...well, in a home...lol. In Jay's home, I could care less about the tiny loft bed. If there was one thing (or two) things I could change (or amend) about his home would be (1) add another small room for the bed, and (2) add water pressure for the shower. That's it.

Summer 2011 -- Working for Residence Life

I'm not sure how this will start or how it will go or if it will end but from the bio you sort of know already what's going on in my life. Grad school, residence hall supervisor, and then the other things in life.

Right now, the school I work for titles me as a Conference Manager for the summer. There is conference housing going on. Me, along with other colleagues, supervise over specific residence halls for the summer. Different groups, camps, and conferences come stay at our school for the summer.

It's getting closer to the end of the summer and school will be starting soon. What does that mean?  This means conference housing will be ending soon, training for the new year will begin for me and the incoming resident advisers, classes will began, and my adhd will increase in confusion...LOL!
