I feel old....

1990? Come on!

It's been a minute...

Hello there! Been sort of busy this past week. Helping out by babysitting, attending bible study, hanging out with friends, and preparing a Thanksgiving Dinner with my mom! I must say and really thankful of the things that has been happening in my life. I cannot complain.

During the Thanksgiving Holiday, I bought something I had been wanting for a very long time now.

Soccer. Cold. Fun.

Last night was my friend's last soccer game of the season. I had to make sure I attended and it was sooooo fun and soooo coooold! My other friend and I sat on the bleaches watching and laughing so hard about everything in spite of the cold. The team we were routing for didn't win but they had a good hustle!

Here's the soccer buddy!
 Here are the freezing buddies!

My previous blog...change of plans

Yes. I talked about in my previously blog about how happy I was for the cold weather. Well today the high was 77 degrees, and possibly it will be in the 40's by midweek. You would think I should be used to do this. Well, I am but I guess you can say I talk about it often as if I wasn't.

Anyway, I attended tutoring training for Refugee students. The name of the program is Refugee Empowerment Program. These students come from the Mideastern and Central Africa area. I am nervous and excited about the experience I will have with these students. I'm sure that there will be some fun as well as tough times due to language barriers. But I am positive about it and ready for the challenge. I pray that God will bless this program abundantly.

Cold weather is here....and I'm actually kind of happy about it.

Normally, I hate when cold weather comes. However, my feelings are different this year. I'm excited it's here and would like to see some snow. I don't want a huge ice storm and streets freezing over but just a little snow. And as long as the temperature doesn't drop below 40 degrees, I'M GOOD!

What is Toxic in Me?

This question just came to me as a I went to the restroom. (Lol, yes, I was going to handle business.) But with this God showed me something. When there is something in our bodies that is toxic, immediately, our bodies start fighting the toxic off. We, as people of Yahweh, must do the same spirituality.

What is toxic spiritually? Sin. Bad habits, so-call friends, lovers, work, thoughts, drugs, and anything that disconnects you from God. What is it that disconnects you from God? The answer is whatever is keeping you to love your neighbor and God with all your heat, mind, soul, and strength. (Mark 12:29-31). How do we love God? By keeping His commandments, decrees, and laws.

To have a healthier lives, we must so no to toxic, keep the toxic away, and smile through everything.

Even though this is written for others to read, this is also for myself.
